- Demonstrate landing and de-hooking techniques appropriate to the species of fish and dispatch the catch in a humane manner.
- Implement strategies to keep catch in pristine condition.
- Handle and return undersized and unwanted fish to the water without damage according to organisational policies and procedures.
- Apply techniques for gutting, gilling, filleting, skinning and boning different species of fish.
